Why we built OrgAlyne.

Nobody can say where things actually stand.

Volunteer leaders aren't the problem. The tools are. Every officer inherits a mess they didn't make, spends a year working around it, and hands one to the person who comes next.

1
The plan fades by the third meeting
You set priorities with real energy behind them. A few months on they've quietly dropped off the agenda, and nobody wants to be the one to raise them.
2
Committee work you can't see
Reports come in when they come in, in whatever format the chair felt like using. Comparing this month to last month means opening six emails and doing it in your head.
3
Decisions with no memory
The motion passed. Where is it written down? Next term somebody asks the same question and the board debates it again from scratch.
4
Events that move forward on hope
The gala is in nine days and you have a feeling about the sponsorships but not a number. Problems show up the week of, when the only fix left is money.
5
Every transition starts from zero
The outgoing officer hands over a password and a folder. Everything else, the standing commitments and the context behind them, walks out the door with them.
6
Participation you can't measure
You know who shows up because you've been in the room. You can't prove it, you can't spot who's drifting, and awards season becomes a memory exercise.

One rhythm, from planning to handoff.

Six things your organization already does. OrgAlyne makes them draw from the same record, so none of it has to be reassembled later. Select any one to see what it includes.

What it actually looks like.

Four screens from the product. The organization and the numbers are examples, not a real customer.

Where things stand, on one screen

Health, priorities at risk, overdue actions, money and committee reporting together. Nobody has to assemble it the night before a meeting.

OrgAlyne overview screen showing an organizational health score of 55, two priorities at risk, four overdue actions, net worth of $50,210, three of five committees reporting, a list of strategic priorities with status labels, and a current risks panel.

The money question, answered before it is asked

Net worth, dues collected, membership against the year's target and projected event net, all scoped to your own fiscal year. Balances are typed in by an officer, and any figure going stale is flagged rather than quietly shown as current.

OrgAlyne finance screen for fiscal year 27 showing net worth of $50,210, dues collected of $24,900 at 63 percent, membership of 132 against a target of 150, projected event net of $10,000, and an accounts table where one balance is flagged as 28 days old.

Which events are behind, and on what

Readiness moves as real items close. Here the Fall Gala sits at 46 percent with two critical items still open, weeks out from the date.

OrgAlyne event screen for a Fall Gala showing 46 percent readiness, four of nine checklist items complete, a warning that two critical items are still open, and a readiness checklist covering venue, budget and insurance.

Brief the board from the system, not a slide file

One button builds the deck from these records as they stand: a slide per committee on your own reporting template, in your organization's colours. Nothing is typed up beforehand, so nothing in it can drift from the system.

A board briefing slide for the Events Committee showing the chair, vice chair and liaison, a gauge reading 25 percent of budget spent, cards for FY budget, spent year to date and remaining, and tables for work completed since the last report and the 90-day outlook.

Frequently asked questions

Is switching off spreadsheets and email a huge project?
No. You can bring in your existing roster, committee list, and action items directly from a CSV export instead of re-typing everything. Most boards are fully set up within a week. See our day-by-day setup guide for the exact steps.
What happens to our data if we cancel?
Your data stays yours. You can export it, and it isn't deleted the moment you cancel; see the Data retention section of our Privacy Policy for the specifics.
Is our organization's data actually isolated from other organizations on OrgAlyne?
Yes. Every request is re-checked against real membership records on our servers, not just trusted from a login session, and this is tested directly, including simulated attempts to break across that boundary. Read the plain-language version in Security, explained for board members, or the full technical detail in our Security Overview.
Why is Chapter priced so much higher than Board?
Board is the governance side: priorities, committees, actions, meetings, motions and the decision record, for up to 12 leadership users. Chapter adds the money and the program year — the budget and dues, the treasurer's report, events with readiness scoring, engagement tracking, automated reminders, and importing members from a spreadsheet — for up to 40. The short test: if your treasurer needs to be in it, you want Chapter. If you're not sure which one fits, ask us directly; we'd rather point you at the right plan than have you overpay.
Does this work for a small chapter, or only larger organizations?
Both. Board is built for a single board just getting off spreadsheets, while National is built for the body above them, coordinating many chapters or affiliates with consolidated oversight. Terminology and workflow adapt to your organization type either way.
What happens when our leadership turns over?
This is the problem OrgAlyne is built around. Every new admin gets the same guided setup wizard, and a real leadership transition package (open commitments, standing cadences, recent decisions, key files) can be exported for whoever takes over, so institutional knowledge doesn't leave when an officer does.
Is OrgAlyne affiliated with any specific fraternal organization, association, or government agency?
No. OrgAlyne is an independent private company and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any government agency, fraternal organization, or association.
