About OrgAlyne
OrgAlyne exists because we watched the same thing happen over and over: a volunteer board or chapter takes on real responsibility — a budget, a membership, a mission — and ends up running it through a patchwork of spreadsheets, group texts, and whoever happens to remember what was decided at the last meeting.
That works, until it doesn't. A committee chair steps down and takes the only copy of the plan with them. A board can't quite reconstruct why a vote went the way it did. A new president spends their first month just trying to figure out what's actually going on.
OrgAlyne is built to be the real, shared record for organizations like this — alumni associations, fraternal chapters, nonprofit boards, and similar member-led groups — without asking anyone to become a database administrator to use it.
What we believe
- Real data, not a demo. Every number in OrgAlyne is computed from what your organization actually tracks — not typed in by hand, not decorative.
- Built for handoffs. Volunteer leadership turns over constantly. The tool should make that transition easier, not harder.
- Accountability, not surveillance. OrgAlyne is for the organization's own governance — it's not a tool for tracking individual members against their will.
