Understanding Your Health Score
OrgAlyne's organizational health score is a real, weighted calculation from five parts of your organization — not a single number pulled from one place, and not something anyone types in by hand.
The five components
| Component | Weight | What it measures |
|---|---|---|
| Priorities | 25% | Share of your priorities that are On Track or Complete |
| Actions | 25% | Share of your open actions that are not Off Track |
| Committees | 20% | Share of your committees that are On Track |
| Events | 15% | Average readiness score across your upcoming events |
| Engagement | 15% | Share of active members with recorded participation recently |
Why the weights aren't equal
Priorities and Actions carry the most weight because they're the most direct signal of whether real work is on track. Engagement carries real but lighter weight — participation matters, but a quiet month from a few members shouldn't swing your whole score.
What happens if a component doesn't apply yet
If your organization has no events coming up, for example, the Events component simply isn't included that week — the other four are reweighted to fill the gap. Your score is never artificially dragged down by a category that's genuinely empty rather than genuinely struggling.
What moves the number
Because it's computed fresh from your real, current data, the score moves the moment your underlying data does — closing an overdue action, submitting a committee update, checking off an event's readiness items. There's no separate step to "update" your health score; there's nothing to update, because it's never stored as a fixed number in the first place.
